The New York Open 2018 was a tennis tournament of the ATP World Tour 2018 in New York City , which was played indoors on clay from February 12 to 18, 2018. In the same week, the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament was played in Rotterdam and the Argentina Open in Buenos Aires . The former was in the ATP World Tour 500 category , while the tournaments in Buenos Aires and New York were in the ATP World Tour 250 category .

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players in the singles only started in the second round thanks to a bye. The total prize pool was $ 668,460; total financial liabilities were $ 748,450.
