Marián Huňady (born August 5, 1982 in Prešov , Czechoslovakia ) is a former Slovak handball player . The right back player and right winger played for GWD Minden in the 2nd Bundesliga .

Career

Huňady played for HT Tatran Prešov from his youth . With the club he was six times Slovak champion and seven times cup winner. With these titles he was represented with Prešov in a European cup competition almost every year (including five times in the Champions League ), in 2010 he moved to the 2nd Bundesliga to Bundesliga relegated GWD Minden. After missing the promotion in the relegation games against TV Hüttenberg , he did not get a new contract and switched to HC winLand Michalovce , where he ended his active career in January 2013.

He has played at least seven international matches for the Slovak national team (as of July 13, 2010).
