The New York Open 2020 was a tennis tournament of the ATP Tour 2020 in New York City , which was played indoors on hard court from February 10 to 16, 2020. In the same week, the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament was played in Rotterdam and the Argentina Open in Buenos Aires . The former was in the ATP World Tour 500 category , while the tournaments in Buenos Aires and New York were in the ATP World Tour 250 category .

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players in the singles started with a bye in the second round. The total prize pool was $ 719,320; total financial liabilities were $ 804,180.
