Shawn Jackson (born September 6, 2000 in Staten Island ) is an American tennis player .

Career

Jackson began studying biology at Hofstra University in New York State in 2018 . There he played college tennis on the college team. In his first season there he had a record of 27:11. After graduating, he would like to enroll in a medical school.

After he had not yet played a match at junior or professional level, he was awarded a wildcard for the doubles field of the New York Open , an event on the ATP Tour, at the side of his fellow student Ostap Kowalenko in early 2020 . Against the pairing of Robert Lindstedt and Tennys Sandgren they only managed to win one game. Jackson has not yet been placed in the tennis world rankings.
