The Next Generation Adelaide International 2020 was a tennis tournament that took place in Adelaide from January 12-18, 2020 . It was part of the ATP Tour 2020 and was played outdoors on hard courts. In the same week, the ASB Classic was held in Auckland . Just like the Adelaide International, this was part of the ATP Tour 250 category .

At the last event in 2008, Michaël Llodra won singles and Martín Alberto García and Marcelo Melo doubles .

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players in the singles each received a bye in the first round.

qualification

Qualification for the Next Generation Adelaide International 2020 took place January 9-10, 2020. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament. There were also three lucky losers.
