The Open Sud de France 2020 was a tennis tournament that took place from 3rd to 9th February 2020 in Pérols near Montpellier . It was part of the ATP Tour 2020 and was played indoors on a hard court. In the same week the Córdoba Open took place in Córdoba and the Tata Open Maharashtra in Pune , which, like the Open Sud de France, belonged to the category of the ATP World Tour 250 .

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga was the defending champion in the singles. In doubles last year, the doubles from Ivan Dodig and Édouard Roger-Vasselin won .

The field of participants in the singles consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition of 16 pairs; the four top seeded players in the singles got a bye at the beginning. The total prize money was 524,695 euros, the total financial liabilities were 606,350 euros.

The qualification took place on February 1st and 2nd, 2020. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
