The Open Sud de France 2017 was a tennis tournament that took place from February 6 to 12, 2017 in Pérols near Montpellier . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2017 and was played indoors on a hard court. The same week the Ecuador Open took place in Quito and the Garanti Koza Sofia Open in Sofia , which, like the Open Sud de France, belonged to the category of the ATP World Tour 250 .

Richard Gasquet was the defending champion in singles, having won the tournament four times, while Michael Venus and Mate Pavić were last year's winners in doubles .

The field of participants in the singles consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The total prize money was 482,060 euros, the total financial liabilities were 540,310 euros.

The qualification took place from February 5th to 6th, 2017. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
