The MercedesCup 2017 was a tennis tournament that took place in Stuttgart from June 12th to 19th, 2017 . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2017 and was played outdoors on grass. In the same week the Ricoh Open was played in 's-Hertogenbosch , which, like the MercedesCup, belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players in the singles each had a bye in the first round.

Lucas Pouille won the final against Feliciano López in three sets.
