ATP World Tour 2017
The ATP World Tour 2017 was the highest competition series in male professional tennis in 2017 and was organized by the ATP . It consisted of the four Grand Slam tournaments ( supervised by the ITF ) as well as the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 , the ATP World Tour 500 and the ATP World Tour 250 in descending order. In addition, the ATP Finals - since 2017 also the Next Generation ATP Finals - the Davis Cup and the Hopman Cup were part of it. The latter two, like the Grand Slams, were organized by the ITF. The Hopman Cup was the only one to not receive any points for the world rankings .
Tour information
In 2017 a total of 68 tournaments were held in 31 countries on six continents. The four Grand Slam tournaments, the Davis Cup and the Hopman Cup were organized by the ITF and were not part of the ATP World Tour. In 2017, the eight best junior tennis players (U21s) played for the first time at the end of the season.
