The TEB BNP Paribas İstanbul Open 2017 was a tennis tournament that took place in Istanbul from May 1st to May 7th, 2017 . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2017 and was played outdoors on a clay court. In the same week the BMW Open was played in Munich and the Millennium Estoril Open in Estoril , which, like the TEB BNP Paribas İstanbul Open, belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

Defending champion in singles was Roger Federer , in doubles Radu Albot and Dušan Lajović won the title last year.

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players each received a bye into the second round. The total prize money was 439,005 euros; the total financial liabilities were 497,225 euros.

The qualification took place from April 29-30, 2017. Four places were played for participation in the main draw of the tournament.
