Altuğ Çelikbilek (born September 7, 1996 in Antalya ) is a Turkish tennis player .

Career

Altuğ Çelikbilek played a few tournaments in his youth on the ITF Junior Tour with a top ranking in the top 400. In 2013, he played for the first time on the third-class ITF Future Tour with the professionals . In 2015 he celebrated his premiere on the higher endowed ATP Challenger Tour in Batman and was able to win his first match a little later in Ağrı . In addition, he reached four Future semifinals in the same year, so that at the end of the year he was number 606 in the world rankings . In 2016 he mainly played Future again and only made it past the semi-finals once in December, so that he could hardly improve his ranking compared to the previous year. In 2017 Çelikbilek was finally able to celebrate his first single future title. Thanks to wild cards , the Turk also got his first matches on the ATP World Tour in Istanbul and Antalya , which he lost in doubles. In June it reached its highest ranking to date with place 418.
