The ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament 2017 was a tennis tournament that took place in Rotterdam from February 13th to 19th . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2017 and was played indoors on a hard court. In the same week, the Memphis Open was played in Memphis and the Argentina Open in Buenos Aires . Both belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category , while the tournament in Rotterdam belonged to the higher endowed ATP World Tour 500 category .

Martin Kližan was defending champion in singles, while Nicolas Mahut and Vasek Pospisil were victorious in doubles last year.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The total prize money was 1,724,930 euros; the total financial liabilities were 1,854,365 euros.

The qualification took place from February 11 to 12, 2017. Four qualifier places were played out in singles and one place in doubles, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament. There was also a lucky loser.
