The ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament 2018 was a tennis tournament that took place in Rotterdam from February 13th to 19th . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2018 and was played indoors on a hard court. The same week the New York Open was played in New York City and the Argentina Open in Buenos Aires . Both belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category , while the tournament in Rotterdam belonged to the higher endowed ATP World Tour 500 category .

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga was defending champion in singles, while Ivan Dodig and Marcel Granollers were victorious in doubles last year. With his victory in the quarter-finals against Robin Haase , Roger Federer took over the top position in the world rankings again after more than five years - as the oldest player in history.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The total prize money was 1,862,295 euros; the total financial liabilities were 1,996,245 euros.

The qualification took place from February 10th to 11th, 2018. Four qualifier places were played out in singles and one place in doubles, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
