In early 2010, Copil won his third Future tournament in Guatemala. In May of that year he made his first place in the final at Challenger level in Cremona as a qualifier , where he was defeated by Denis Gremelmayr 4-6, 5-7. In Bucharest , Copil played again in 2010 thanks to a wildcard and lost to Simone Vagnozzi 6-7 , 4-6. In Kazan , the Romanian finally managed to win his first challenger title against Andreas Beck . In May he played for the first time in the qualification of a Grand Slam tournament at the French Open . There he reached the second qualifying round.
