Sadio Doumbia (born September 12, 1990 in Toulouse ) is a French tennis player .

Career

On the professional tour, Sadio Doumbia plays tournaments of the third-class ITF Future Tour and the second-class ATP Challenger Tour . So far he has won four singles and three doubles on the Future Tour. The year 2016 was his most successful so far. In addition to three future titles (two in singles, one in doubles), he also celebrated successes on the Challenger Tour. First he was able to win the double title in September in Istanbul at the side of Calvin Hemery . A month later he triumphed in Pune with a final victory over Prajnesh Gunneswaran in the individual. With this success he moved up to 250th place in the world rankings . In doubles he was even better placed in the following year with a 241st place.

Doumbia has been playing for TC Weinheim 1902 since 2014 , with whom he made it to the 1st Bundesliga in the 2016 season .
