The Gazprom Hungarian Open 2018 was a tennis tournament that took place in Budapest from April 23 to 29, 2018 . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2018 and was played outdoors on a clay court. In the same week the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell was played for the 66th time in Barcelona , but in contrast to the Gazprom Hungarian Open, which only belonged to the ATP World Tour 250, it belonged to the ATP World Tour 500 category .

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The total prize money was 501,345 euros; the total financial liabilities were 561,345 euros.

qualification

The qualification took place on April 21 and 22, 2018. Four qualifying places were played in the individual competition, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament. There were also two lucky losers.
