The Brasil Open 2018 was a tennis tournament that took place in São Paulo from February 26th to March 4th, 2018 . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2018 and was played indoors on sand. In the same week, the Abierto Mexicano Telcel 2018 in Acapulco and the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships 2018 in Dubai . Both belonged to the ATP World Tour 500 category , while the tournament in São Paulo belonged to the lower endowed category of the ATP World Tour 250 .

Pablo Cuevas was the defending champion in singles, winning the tournament three times in a row. Julio Peralta and Horacio Zeballos won doubles last year.

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players in the singles each received a bye in the first round. The total prize pool was $ 516,205; total financial liabilities were $ 582,870.
