The Brasil Open 2019 was a tennis tournament that took place in São Paulo from February 25th to March 3rd, 2019 . It was part of the ATP Tour 2019 and was played indoors on sand. In the same week, the Abierto Mexicano Telcel 2019 in Acapulco and the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships 2019 in Dubai . Both belonged to the ATP World Tour 500 category , while the tournament in São Paulo belonged to the lower endowed category of the ATP World Tour 250 .

Fabio Fognini was the defending champion in the singles. Federico Delbonis and Máximo González won doubles last year.

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players in the singles each received a bye in the first round. The total prize pool was $ 550,145; total financial liabilities were $ 618,810.
