Pedro Henrique Morio Sakamoto (born June 29, 1993 in Guarulhos ) is a Brazilian tennis player .

Career

Sakamoto started playing tennis tournaments in 2010. In 2011 he was in the top 1000 of the world rankings in singles and doubles . That year he won his first future title in doubles . In 2013 he made it to the final of the third-rate tour in the singles and immediately won the tournament. In São Paulo he played his first tournament on the ATP Challenger Tour . He finished the year at 496th in singles and 698th in doubles, his bests to date. After winning three futures doubles in 2013, he was able to achieve as many titles in 2014, so that the Brazilian reached his top position in the ranking list at the beginning of 2015 with 433rd. In the individual, he also managed his first entry into a Challenger quarter-finals in Santos . Nevertheless, he won no titles in 2015 or 2016 and quickly lost places in the ranking again.

In 2017 Sakamoto got back on the road to success with one future and three futures in doubles. In the individual, he came closer to the top 400 again.
