Orlando Moraes Luz (born February 8, 1998 in Carazinho ) is a Brazilian tennis player .

Career

At the youth edition of the tournament in Wimbledon in 2014 , he and Marcelo Zormann won the title of doubles competition. At the French Open in the same year he also reached the finals in doubles and the semi-finals in singles . He also won the gold medal in doubles with Marcelo Zormann at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing .

Luz mainly plays on the Future Tour , where he has won two doubles titles so far. In 2016 he made his debut on the ATP World Tour in Rio de Janeiro at the Rio Open through a wildcard . He competed in doubles on the side of Fabiano de Paula , with whom he failed in the first round against the seeding list leaders Marcelo Melo and Bruno Soares with 2: 6, 3: 6.

He won his first Challenger title in June 2019 alongside Matías Franco Descotte in Little Rock .
