The European Open 2017 was a tennis tournament that took place in Antwerp from October 16-22, 2017 . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2017 and was played indoors on a hard court. In the same week were in Stockholm the If Stockholm Open , and in Moscow the Kremlin Cup played that just like the tournament in Antwerp category ATP World Tour 250 counted.

The defending champions were Richard Gasquet in singles and Daniel Nestor and Édouard Roger-Vasselin in doubles .

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players in the singles each received a bye in the first round.

qualification

The qualification took place from October 14-15, 2017. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
