Aisjaure (also Ajsjávrre ) is a lake in the municipality of Arjeplog in Norrbotten County in the Swedish historical province of Lapland . The irregularly shaped lake lies at 420 m above sea level, is 33.98 km² in size and drains to the Skellefte älv . It is associated with other lakes, including the Uddjaure ; its level fluctuates between 418 and 420 m due to its use for energy generation. The lake's water is contaminated by lead-containing discharges from a landfill in the former Laisvallgruvan lead ore mine. Riksväg 95 , also known as the Silberweg , runs along the north-eastern shore of the lake .
