This article shows the results of the qualifying rounds for the 2017 China Open . For the tournament in the ATP World Tour 500 category , four players qualified in singles and a pairing in doubles, which are determined in two rounds. A total of 16 players in singles and 2 pairings in doubles took part in the qualification, which took place on September 30th and October 1st, 2017. Only one match was played in doubles.
