The MercedesCup 2010 was a tennis tournament that took place from July 12th to 18th, 2010 in Stuttgart . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2010 and was played outdoors on a clay court. In the same week, the SkiStar Swedish Open was played in Båstad , which, like the MercedesCup, belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

Defending champion in the singles was Jérémy Chardy , who was eliminated in the first round this year. The winner was Albert Montañés , who defeated Gaël Monfils in the final, who had to give up the game at 6-2, 2-1 due to injury. For Montañés it was the second title this year after the one in Estoril and his fifth overall title on the ATP Tour. In doubles, František Čermák and Michal Mertiňák were the defending champions, but they did not compete together this year. While Čermák did not even take part in the tournament, Mertiňák made it to the quarter-finals together with Johan Brunström , where they were defeated by the later tournament winners Carlos Berlocq and Eduardo Schwank . They won the double final against the German duo Christopher Kas and Philipp Petzschner in straight sets. With that, the Argentines won their only joint title.

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 32 players, that of the double competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players in the singles each got a bye into the second round. The total prize money was 398,250 euros; the total financial liabilities were 450,000 euros.
