The Rogers Cup 2010 was a tennis tournament that took place from August 7th to 15th, 2010 in Toronto . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2010 and was played outdoors on hard courts. This season it was the sixth of nine tournaments in the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 category . At the same time, the women's Rogers Cup took place in Toronto .

Last year's winner was Andy Murray , who confidently defended his title. Murray only gave one set in the entire tournament. In the final he beat the Swiss Roger Federer in two sets with 7: 5 and 7: 5. In the twelfth clash between the two, it was Murray's seventh win. For him it was also the first tournament victory in the current year and his 15th title overall on the ATP Tour. In doubles, Mahesh Bhupathi and Mark Knowles went to defend their title, but both with a different partner. While Knowles and his partner failed in the first round, Bhupathi made it into the semifinals where they were defeated by the eventual winners Bob and Mike Bryan in three sets. They beat the French duo Julien Benneteau and Michaël Llodra in two sets with 7: 5 and 6: 3 in the final . In the current year it was the seventh joint double title for the brothers as well as the 63rd joint title in their careers. After 2002 and 2006 they won the Canada Masters for the third time.

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 56 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 24 pairs. The eight top seeded players in singles or pairings in doubles each got a bye into the second round. The total prize money was $ 2,430,000; total financial liabilities were $ 3,000,000.
