The Western & Southern Financial Group Masters 2010 was a tennis tournament that took place from August 14th to 22nd, 2010 in Mason near Cincinnati . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2010 and was played outdoors on hard courts. This season it was the seventh of nine tournaments in the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 category . At the same time, the 2010 Western & Southern Financial Group Women's Open took place on the same facility .

Defending champion in the singles was Roger Federer . Also this year he was able to win the tournament. In the final, he defeated the American Mardy Fish in three sets. For Federer it was already the fourth title in Cincinnati, which allowed him to catch up with Mats Wilander , who also won four titles. This season it was only his second title after the Australian Open . Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjić played doubles to defend their title, but they were eliminated in the quarterfinals. The final contested Mahesh Bhupathi and Max Mirnyi against the brothers Bob and Mike Bryan . The latter won the final in two sets with 6: 3 and 6: 4. For the Bryan brothers it was already the eighth joint title in the current season and the 64th joint title overall on the ATP tour.

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 56 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 24 pairs. The eight top seeded players in singles or pairings in doubles each got a bye into the second round. The total prize money was $ 2,430,000; total financial liabilities were $ 3,000,000.
