The Thailand Open 2010 was a tennis tournament that took place from September 28th to October 3rd, 2010 in Bangkok . The tournament was part of the ATP World Tour 2010 and was held indoors on a hard court. The same week the Proton Malaysian Open took place in Kuala Lumpur , which, like the Thailand Open, was part of the ATP World Tour 250 .

None of the previous year's winners ( Gilles Simon in the individual competition, Eric Butorac and Rajeev Ram in the doubles) went to defend their title. In the individual, Guillermo García-López won in the final against Jarkko Nieminen 6: 4, 3: 6, 6: 4, his second ATP title, after eliminating world number one Rafael Nadal in the semifinals . Christopher Kas and Viktor Troicki won their first joint ATP title in doubles . In the final they beat Jonathan Erlich and Jürgen Melzer 6: 4, 6: 4. For Troicki it was his first single title overall.

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the double competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players each received a bye into the second round. The total prize pool was $ 551,000; total financial liabilities were $ 608,500.
