Andrej Martin (born September 20, 1989 in Bratislava ) is a Slovak tennis player .
Career
Martin has been playing in ITF Future Tour tournaments since 2006, and has won ten singles titles and eight doubles titles so far.
Since the 2010 season he has also been playing tournaments on the ATP Challenger Tour on a regular basis . He won his first title in this category in August 2010 when he defeated his compatriot Marek Semjan in straight sets in the Samarqand final.
At the first tournament in 2013 he was in the final of the Challenger tournament in Nouméa , but lost it in two sets against the French Adrian Mannarino . In April of the same year he faced the French again in a final and was able to take revenge. In the final of the Challenger tournament in Mexico City , he defeated Mannarino in three sets with 4: 6, 6: 4 and 6: 1.
Andrej Martin made his debut in the Slovak Davis Cup team in the 2013 season .
