Tristan Oliver

Tristan Oliver is a British cameraman who works primarily for animation films.

Life

After studying at the University of University of Bristol and the Bristol Film School realized Tristan Oliver 2000 together with Frank Passingham and Dave Alex Riddett the Knetanimationsfilm Chicken Run - racing hens . Even with Wallace & Gromit - On the hunt for the giant rabbit worked from 2005 for which Oliver Dave Alex Riddett, is a Knetanimationsfilm. With Riddett he also shot the short film The Madagascar Penguins on a Pre -Christmas Mission, shown as a supporting film .

In 2009, he worked on the animated film The Fantastic Mr. Fox by Wes Anderson and in 2012 on the animated film ParaNorman by Chris Butler and Sam Fell , both of which were nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Animated Film.

He also acted as a cameraman for Loving Vincent by Dorota Kobiela and Hugh Welchman , which is considered to be the first full-length animated film in which scenes shot with real people were re-painted in oil frame by frame. Afterwards Oliver worked again for Wes Anderson as a cameraman for the animated film Isle of Dogs - Atari's Journey , which premiered in February 2018 as part of the Berlin International Film Festival .
