The Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2013 was a tennis tournament that took place in Doha from December 31, 2012 to January 5, 2013 . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2013 and was played outdoors on hard courts. In the same week the Brisbane International was played in Brisbane and the Aircel Chennai Open in Chennai , which, like the Qatar ExxonMobil Open, belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

Defending champion in the singles was the Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga , who defeated his compatriot Gaël Monfils in two sets in the final. This year, however, he no longer took part. His compatriot Richard Gasquet won against the Russian Nikolai Dawydenko in three sets. For Gasquet it was already the eighth title in his career. Filip Polášek and Lukáš Rosol won the tournament in doubles last year. While Rosol no longer took part in the tournament, Polášek played his way through to the final with his Austrian partner Julian Knowle . There they were ultimately defeated by the German duo Christopher Kas and Philipp Kohlschreiber in two sets with 5: 7 and 4: 6. For the duo Kas / Kohlschreiber it was the third joint double title on the ATP Tour. They were already in the final of the Qatar ExxonMobil Open last year, but lost it significantly in two sets.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs.
