The AEGON International 2013 was a tennis tournament, which is from 17 to 22 June 2013 in Eastbourne took place. It was part of the ATP World Tour 2013 and was played on grass. In the same week the Topshelf Open was played in 's-Hertogenbosch , which, like the AEGON International, belongs to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

The defending champion in the singles was Andy Roddick , who has now ended his professional career. In the final, Feliciano López defeated his opponent Gilles Simon in three sets. It was López's third career title and the first on grass. In doubles, Colin Fleming and Ross Hutchins were the defending champions. While Fleming started with a new partner this year, Hutchins had to do without participation in the tournament due to his illness. With his partner Jonathan Marray , Fleming failed in the final against the top seeded Alexander Peya and Bruno Soares .

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players each received a bye into the second round.

qualification

The qualification for the AEGON International 2013 took place on June 15 and 16, 2013. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
