The 2013 Copa Claro was a tennis tournament that took place in Buenos Aires from February 16 to 24, 2013 . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2013 and was played outdoors on sand. In the same week, the US National Indoor Tennis Championships were played in Memphis and the Open 13 in Marseille . Like the Copa Claro, the latter belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category , while the US National Indoor Tennis Championships 2013 belonged to the ATP World Tour 500 category .

Last year's individual winner, David Ferrer , was able to confidently defend his title. He won the final against the Swiss Stanislas Wawrinka in three sets. In the current year he celebrated the second tournament victory after winning the tournament in Auckland . In doubles, David Marrero and Fernando Verdasco were the defending champions. This year's event was won by the Italian duo Simone Bolelli and Fabio Fognini against the German-American duo Simon Stadler and Nicholas Monroe in straight sets.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs.

qualification

Qualification for the Copa Claro 2013 took place from February 16 to 18, 2013. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
