Facundo Argüello (born August 4, 1992 in Córdoba ) is an Argentine tennis player .

Career

Facundo Argüello has won 4 singles and 7 doubles titles on the ATP Challenger Tour so far. He scored his first tournament victory on the side of Agustín Velotti in July 2012 at the Challenger tournament in Lima. On March 18, 2013 he broke through the top 200 of the world rankings for the first time. He played his first game on the ATP World Tour in February 2011 in the Copa Claro double competition in Buenos Aires, Argentina . At the side of Juan Pablo Brzezicki he lost his opening game against the top seeded duo Daniele Bracciali and Potito Starace . The first single game in this category he played two years later, also in Buenos Aires. Over the qualifying rounds he played his way into the main field of the tournament and faced his compatriot Marco Trungelliti in the first round . Because of an abdominal injury, he ultimately had to give up the game when the score was 6: 4, 3: 6 and 0: 1.
