The St. Petersburg Open 2011 was a tennis tournament that took place from October 24th to 30th, 2011 in Saint Petersburg . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2011 and was played indoors on a hard court. In the same week, the Erste Bank Open was played in Vienna , which, like the St. Petersburg Open, belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

Defending champion in the singles was Mikhail Kukuschkin , but he was eliminated in the first round. The winner was Marin Čilić , who defeated Janko Tipsarević in the final and won his 6th career title. Daniele Bracciali and Potito Starace defended their title in doubles , but they didn't get past the quarter-finals either. The title went to Colin Fleming and Ross Hutchins , they were able to prevail in the final against Mikhail Jelgin and Alexander Kudrjawzew . They each won their third title.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The total prize pool was $ 663,750; total financial liabilities were $ 750,000.
