The Power Horse World Team Cup 2011 was a tennis tournament that was played outdoors on clay court. It was the 34th edition of the World Team Cup and part of the 250 series of the ATP World Tour 2011 . The event was organized by the Rochus Club in Düsseldorf from May 15 to 21, 2011.
After ARAG was no longer available as the main sponsor for the 2011 tournament, the tournament was first canceled for 2011. In January 2011, Power Horse was found as the new main sponsor, so that the 2011 event was secured.
Last year's winner Argentina , won all the games in the red group and made it to the final unbeaten. In the final was Argentina from Germany with 2: conquered first After an intermediate score of 1: 1 after the two singles, Philipp Petzschner and Philipp Kohlschreiber defeated the Argentinians Juan Ignacio Chela and Máximo González 6: 3 and 7: 6 in the decisive doubles and secured Germany the title of team world champion in tennis for the fifth time.
Prize money and world ranking points
The teams were paid the following prize money for reaching the respective group placement or round. In addition to the team ranking, there was prize money for the number of wins in doubles and for reaching doubles in the final.
