Frank Moser (born September 23, 1976 in Baden-Baden ) is a former German tennis player .

Career

Moser was mainly active as a dual specialist. He was in the final of a challenger tournament 26 times with changing partners, with 13 wins and 13 losses his balance sheet was even. He was able to reach the finals three times on the ATP Tour. In 2009 he moved into the final in Los Angeles with Benjamin Becker , but lost to the Bryan brothers Mike and Bob 4: 6 and 6: 7 (2: 7). Together with Matthias Bachinger he failed in Atlanta in July 2011. They lost 6: 3, 5: 7 and [8:10] to Alex Bogomolov junior and Matthew Ebden . At the US Open 2011 , Moser and his Croatian partner Ivo Karlović surprisingly defeated the Bryans in the first round, but were eliminated in the second round. In 2012 he reached the final of San José together with Kevin Anderson in February . But even in his third final, which, like the other two, took place on US soil, his first ATP title was narrowly denied. On May 21, 2012 he reached 47th place, his highest ranking in the world rankings. It wasn't until 2013, again in San José, that Frank Moser celebrated his first title on the ATP World Tour. With Xavier Malisse he defeated Marinko Matosevic and Lleyton Hewitt in three sets in the final . At the end of the 2016 season, Moser withdrew from the professional tour.
