Tommy Robredo was the defending champion in the singles, but this year he did not appear in the tournament. In the final, the fifth seeded Dmitri Tursunow won in three sets with 7: 6, 6 , 1: 6, 6: 4 against the four seeded local heroes Paul-Henri Mathieu and won his fifth title on the tour. Arnaud Clément and Michaël Llodra successfully defended their title in doubles . In the final they prevailed 5: 7, 6: 3, [10: 8] against the seeding list leaders Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski from Poland.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The total prize money was 349,000 euros; the total financial liabilities were 370,000 euros.
