The BMW Open 2008 was a tennis tournament that took place from April 28 to May 4, 2008 in Munich . It was part of the ATP Tour 2008 and was played outdoors on a clay court. In the same week were in Barcelona , the Open Sabadell Atlantico Barcelona played, which, unlike the BMW Open, which the International Series belonged to the highly doped International Series Gold included.

The defending champion in the individual was Philipp Kohlschreiber , who withdrew his participation this year due to illness.
