Defending champion in the singles was Xavier Malisse , who was eliminated this year in the quarter-finals against the eventual winner Michail Juschny . The fourth seeded Juschny prevailed in the final against the top seeded Spaniard Rafael Nadal in two sets with 6: 0 and 6: 1. In addition to Dick Norman , Xavier Malisse was also defending champion in doubles. Only Malisse started again and failed in the first round. The title was won this year by the Thai twin brothers Sanchai and Sonchat Ratiwatana , who were able to celebrate their second tournament victory on the ATP tour.
