The Ordina Open 2008 was a tennis tournament that took place from June 15 to 21, 2008 in ’s-Hertogenbosch , the Netherlands . It was part of the 2008 ATP Tour and was played outdoors on grass. The same week the Nottingham Open took place in Nottingham , which, like the Ordina Open, belonged to the International Series category .

Defending champion in the singles was Ivan Ljubičić , who failed in the round of 16 this year to Viktor Troicki . The Spanish seeding list leader David Ferrer won the final 6: 4, 6: 2 against Marc Gicquel from France and won his second title of the year and seventh title of his career after the Open de Tenis Comunidad Valenciana . Defending champions in doubles were Jeff Coetzee and Rogier Wassen . Only Wassen started again and retired with his partner Jean-Claude Scherrer in the first round. The title was won by Mario Ančić and Jürgen Melzer , who were victorious in the final against the pairing of Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes with 7: 6, 5 , 6: 3.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The total prize money was 349,000 euros, the total financial liabilities were 370,000 euros.

qualification

The qualification took place from June 13th to 15th, 2008. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament. There was also a lucky loser.
