Shower is a cosmetics brand of the Unilever group . For a long time only shower gels were offered under the brand name , later the range was expanded to include deodorants , liquid soaps and body lotions .

history

With the shower gel "First Soap on a Rope" ( English "first soap on a rope" ) in 1973 offered the first product. The name came from the special bottle to which a cord was attached. Further variations followed by 1979. In 1998 special seasonal editions were released. After changing the recipe and modernizing the design of the packaging in the following year, the range was expanded in 2003. From now on, in addition to the previous 13 different variants of shower gels, deodorants, liquid soaps and body lotions are also available under the brand name.

In the summer of 2005, the deodorants were supplemented by a roll-on range, which also won the German Packaging Design Award 2005 in the same year. In 2008, Dusch won the “Top Brand 2009” award from the Lebensmittel Zeitung ; in 2011 this success was repeated.
