Daniel Garza (born April 8, 1985 in Monterrey ) is a Mexican tennis player .

Career

Daniel Garza mainly plays on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Future Tour . So far he has celebrated eight single and 19 double victories on the Future Tour. To date, he has won five doubles tournaments on the ATP Challenger Tour. On July 24, 2006 he broke through the top 200 in the world rankings for the first time in doubles and his highest ranking was a 176th place in March 2007. He made his singles debut on the ATP World Tour in February 2011 at the Abierto Mexicano Telcel , where he but already lost in the opening round against Santiago González in straight sets. In the following years 2012 and 2013 also lost in the opening round.

In doubles he made his debut on the ATP World Tour in February 2007 at the Abierto Mexicano Telcel , where he competed alongside Miguel Gallardo Valles , but the two lost in the opening round against Jordan Kerr and David Škoch . From 2012 to 2014 he also played in the double main field with changing partners, but always lost in the first round.

Daniel Garza has played for the Mexican Davis Cup team since 2006 . For this he competed in 14 matches, with a balance of 14: 8 in singles and 5: 1 in doubles.
