Michael Quintero (born July 11, 1980 ) is a Colombian tennis player .

Career

Michael Quintero mainly plays on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Future Tour . So far he has celebrated 10 single and 13 double victories on the Future Tour. On the ATP Challenger Tour he won the tournament in Bogotá in 2006.

He made his debut in singles on the ATP World Tour in September 2003 at the ATP tournament in Costa do Sauípe , where he lost in two sets against Hermes Gamonal in the opening round . In doubles took place at the Claro Open Colombia 2013 in Bogotá, the first appearance on World Tour level. Here Quintero formed a double pair with Emilio Gómez . They clearly lost their opening game at this tournament in straight sets against Purav Raja and Divij Sharan and were eliminated. The next appearance in doubles on the World Tour took place at the Claro Open Colombia 2014, where he lost, this time alongside Facundo Argüello , also in the first round.
