Ilija Bozoljac ( Serbian - Cyrillic Илија Бозољац ; born August 2, 1985 in Aleksandrovac , Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian tennis player .
Career
He started his professional career in 2002. In 2006 he reached the quarter-finals at the ATP tournament in Zagreb . After beating Dudi Sela , he qualified for the main draw, where he defeated Daniele Bracciali and Feliciano López before losing to Novak Đoković in the quarter-finals . At the French Open 2006 he was in the second round of a Grand Slam tournament for the first time and achieved number 101 in the world rankings, his best placement so far. In early 2007 he made it to the second round at the Australian Open , as well as at Wimbledon . As a result, he reached rank 101 in the world rankings , his highest ranking. In 2009 he qualified for the French Open , where he narrowly lost to Nicolas Kiefer . He reached three Challenger finals and was back on the jump into the top 100. In 2010 he reached the Challenger finals in the tournament in Belgrade .
Since 2003 he has been playing for the Serbian Davis Cup team .
