Then he began to play professional tournaments regularly, where he was mainly successful in doubles. In his entire career he could not win a single title and only win a match at the Challenger level ; he achieved his best placement with rank 712 in 2007. In doubles he won three titles on the ITF Future Tour in 2004 and 2005 , making him temporarily into the top 400 in the world rankings . In 2006, in addition to two future titles, he also made it to the first Challenger semi-finals in Sassuolo and Campos do Jordão . In Belo Horizonte he even made it to the finals for the first time with Jean-Julien Rojer . As a result, he moved into the top 300 in doubles at the end of the year. In 2007 he then played almost exclusively Challengers and was able to utilize three finals for his first two titles on the level.
2008 was his strongest year. With various partners he reached six finals at Challengers, but could not win a single one. Nevertheless, he rose in the world rankings with 132nd place in April to his career high in doubles. In 2009 he won his third and final title before losing some ground in the rankings. In 2010 at the French Open , he played his only Grand Slam tournament with Thiago Alves , which was lost. In 2011 he won his last future and played his second and last tournament on the ATP Tour in Los Angeles . At the side of Bruno Semenzato he lost his opening match. At the beginning of 2012 he stopped his regular tournament operations.
