The Internazionali BNL d'Italia 2014 was a tennis tournament that took place in Rome from May 11th to 18th, 2014 . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2014 and was played outdoors on a clay court. This season it was the fifth of nine tournaments in the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 category .

Defending champion in singles was Rafael Nadal , in doubles the American brothers Bob and Mike Bryan .

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 56 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 24 pairs. The eight top seeded players in singles or pairings in doubles each received a bye into the second round.

qualification

The qualification for the Internazionali BNL d'Italia 2014 took place on May 10th and 11th, 2014. From 28 participants, seven qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
