Josef Laub
Josef Laub (born January 23, 1911 in Vienna ; † June 18, 1991 ibid) was an Austrian mathematician .
Josef Laub studied mathematics and descriptive geometry at the University of Vienna and the TU Vienna . In 1935 he passed the teaching examination and initially taught in Wiener Neustadt . During his military service in World War II , he worked at the Aviation Research Institute in Braunschweig . In 1946 he received his doctorate at the TU Braunschweig . From 1949 he was a teacher at the secondary school in Vienna-Margareten. He was the editor of integral tables and a frequent textbook author .
