Sjarhej Betau ( Belarusian Сяргей Бетаў , English: Sergey Betov ; born October 15, 1987 in Gomel , Belarusian SSR , Soviet Union ) is a Belarusian tennis player .

Career

Betau mainly plays on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Future Tour . So far, he has celebrated 3 single and 25 double victories on the Future Tour. On the Challenger Tour he won eleven tournaments, six of them in 2014 with Aljaksandr Bury and five more in 2015 with Michail Jelgin . With these tournament victories, he was able to advance to 64th place in the double world rankings in mid-October 2015.

Betau played for the Belarusian Davis Cup team for the first time in 2008 . For this he competed in five encounters, with a balance of 0: 6 in singles and 1: 1 in doubles.
