Winterscheid parish

The parish of Winterscheid in the Bergisches Land comprised the three honors Winterscheid , Bröl and Derenbach. It was first named on February 25, 1299. In 1712 there were 1003 people in 213 households. In 1817 there were 1,318 inhabitants.

Gut Bettringen , Bruch, Höfferhof, Ingersau , Ingersauelerhof, Schreckenberg and Winterscheiderbröl belonged to the Winterscheider Honschaft .

The Bröler Honschaft included Brölerhof, Beiert , Beiertshof, Broscheid, Büchel , Felderhof, Burg Herrnstein , Hoffscheid, Hoffstatt, Loch, Oberbüchel, Reiferscheid , Sieferhof, Thilhove, Tüschenhohn and Wilkeroth.

The Derenbach honors included the places Bechlingen , Gut Bettringen , Derenbach, Derenbacherhof, Felderhoferbrücke, Fußhollen , Hatterbach, Hatterscheid, Haus Bröleck , Heckhausen, Holenfeld , Honscheid , Litterscheid , Roggenbach, Schmitzdörfgen , Stockum , Neuenhof , Winterscheidermühle and Tanneck.
