history

In 1712 eight households with 42 souls lived here : Johannes Bourbach, Henrich Cremer, Arnold Fischer, Wilhelm Walerscheid, Henrich Walterscheid, Nicolaus Honscheid, Bertram Zimmermann and Sebastian Walterscheid.

In 1809 the place had 32 Catholic residents.

In 1910, the households of day laborer Johann Peter Busch, day laborer Peter Heuser, Ackerer Wilhelm Sieberz, Ackerer Anton Thiebus, mechanical engineer Johann Walterscheid, tailor Johann Peter Walterscheid and Ackerer Wiemar Walterscheid were recorded for Winterscheiderbröl.
